Google API data

QuietInbox accesses Gmail data only after a user explicitly authorizes access through Google OAuth. QuietInbox’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Data we access and why

QuietInbox uses Gmail read-only access to retrieve a limited set of recent message data, including identifiers, sender information, subject lines and metadata. This data is used solely to provide user-facing email analysis, intent classification, explanations and personalized suggestions.

Data we store

QuietInbox stores the connected email address, encrypted Google access credentials and the user’s explicit Teach AI choices. Gmail message bodies are not stored. Learning data is isolated by account.

AI and Limited Use

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or used to train or improve a general-purpose or shared AI model. Teach AI records account-specific preferences only to provide the user-facing QuietInbox features requested by that user.

Sharing

QuietInbox does not sell Google user data. Data is processed only by service infrastructure required to operate QuietInbox and is not transferred for unrelated purposes.

Retention and deletion

Teach AI choices are retained for up to 180 days. Users can disconnect Gmail and permanently delete stored QuietInbox account and learning data from Account controls. Google access can also be revoked from Google Account security settings.

Security

OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest, and user learning records are isolated by account. QuietInbox currently requests read-only Gmail access and cannot send, move, archive or delete messages.
